DO YOU KNOW CÓRDOBA?

 

 -The city of Córdoba is in the south of Spain, at the feet of Sierra Morena and close to the Guadalquivir River. It has a population of 325.000 inhabitants.








-You can get to Cordoba by plane (nearby airports: Seville, Granada and Málaga), by road (A-4, or National Rodas N-432 and A-45 among others), or by train (AVE).



 
WHY VISIT CÓRDOBA? (Where to go?)

-It was recognised by UNESCO in 1994 as World Heritage Site. 

 -It is a city of cultural encounters.








 
 


-It is the mark of different civilizations: Romans, Jewish, Moslem and Christian ones.







 


-You can walk and visit different religious architecture: Mosque-Cathedral, chapels, synagogue, churches or monasteries.








 

-You can discover civil monuments: Roman bridge,castles, Royal Stables...









 


-You can feel part of the History in the typical Courtyards.

 -You can find everything you want in Córdoba; in its streets are located both traditional and modern items or funny souvernirs from the city!.





 
-However, if you are looking for jewels, Córdoba is the right place: there are more than 100 jeweller's which sell their products not really expensive!.
